Day Three:
Finished the fence. It is a tad rickety but I think it will hold. Added in a couple of newly purchased t-stakes to bolster the fence. TS is working for a local farmer and friend so we will be obtaining some income, however it seems we are going to have to spend our weekends working so they will not be recorded. Only actual building days will be logged. Designs are still in flux. There is some disagreement with where the front door is to go. Windows have still not been finalised. We are trying to track down some sources of free or cheap supplies but the changes in the economy are effecting what's available so some information is out of date.

Day Two
Day two:
We took down the fence and moved the posts. Cutting the barbed wire required a new tool. Possible and indeed actual elevation issues due to the difference in heights of the two pieces of land. This means we cannot proceed with the foundations without using an outside contractor. We have found a likely candidate for a reasonable price.

Day One.
Day One.
Inspected the site. The site is not the site we had previously agreed upon. It is now half in half out of a cow pasture. We need to move a fence to allow access. The sizing previously agreed upon is adequate, 900 ftsq. 30' x 30'. we are positioning the house North South. I checked and verified using a compass.

First things first...
This is a building blog. Each day I will add a number of entries pertaining to how a number of building projects are progressing. For those of you who like wordiness, it may be a touch sparse but as my time is precious, I will try and be adding a number of entries and comments but I will focus on the project. Pictures will be added when available.
